Cruising through the Night

From the slit of my window sill
An array of illuminated streak
Intrude into the quitness of my room
And the songster sing an elegy to its tune

As the sun melts lazily into clouds
And the night wears a limpid look
The sift of the stars on the placid sky
The myriad lock the gaze forever

A river tour on such serene night
When the moonlit wavelets shimmer
The gondola sweeps through waves
The world passes by as a blur

Flowing with the waves crossing all dimensions
Gliding with the night touching the horizons
And the quiescence of the night is invaded
When the rays of dawn come perforating the night sky.
